| Studies were conducted to evaluate the effect of 10%, 20% and 30% ration substitutions for distillery yeast on the function Taguchis loss using two hundred and forty 45-day-old fingerlings of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), sexually reverted with an initial average weight of 1.25 ± 0.14 g placed in amianthus box.. The average results obtained for the limnological parameters of the water quality control through chemical analysis were considered normal. Taguchis losses for the total production, for the dead and discarded fishes did not show correlation for the different levels of alcohol yeast inclusion, showing that the choice of the yeast level in the ration for these fishes depended on its availability and occasional cost. | According to the investigation results of grain production and demand status of administrative units at county level in Hubei Province in the years 2004-2007, status and trend of grain production and grain demand in Hubei Province are analyzed, so as to discuss the grain supply capacity of Hubei Province. Result shows that affected by the adjustment of agricultural structure and the transfer of rural labor, Hubei Province shows a significant decrease in grain production before the year 2002, and a gradual increase in both grain production scale and grain supply capacity after the year 2004. | Two hundred and forty 45-day-old fingerlings of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), sexually reverted with an initial average weight of 1.25 ± 0.14 g, distributed in a totally casualized delineation, during 330 days. The effect of the substitution of 10%, 20% and 30% of the ration by distillery yeast (Saccharomiyces cerevisae) in balanced experimental rations on the development in the breeding of tilapias did not show a harmful effect up to the maximum tested level of 30%, showing that the choice of the yeast in the ration for these fishes depends on the availability and occasional cost. | It was studied, in this work, the effects of supplementation of probiotics on the performance, on the pH of crop content, on the morphometry of the ileum and on the number of enterobacteria in the cecum of the broilers. Out of the 120 studied birds, 60 belonged to the test group and 60 to the control group. At 1, 7, 12, 18, 23 and 28 days of age, the chickens and rations were weighed and mortality and morbidity were determined. Then, the birds were sacrificed and the pH of the crop content was measured, ileum fragments were collected for morphometric analysis and the enterobacteria in the cecal content were quantified. | Four trials were conducted to determine the requirements of available phosphorus (aP) of female broiler chicks from 1 to 10 (exp.1), 11 to 21 (exp.2), 22 to 33 (exp.3), and from 34 to 46 (exp.4) days of age, keeping the calcium:available phosphorus ratio equal to 2:1. In each trial, 480 Cobb broilers were randomly allotted in a completely randomized design with 6 treatments, 8 replicates and 10 birds per pen. The levels of aP ranged from 2.0 to 5.5 g/kg (Exp. 1), 1.9 to 5.4g/kg (exp. 2), 1.8 to 5.3 g/kg (exp. 3) and 1.7 to 5.2 g/kg of diet (exp. 4), in increments of 0.7 g/kg.
